My friend Alfie has been throwing some sultry parties for quite some time now, including the Grand Opening of Electric Thursdays at Bar 201. I dropped by with a few friends, including my bff Robert. Follow AM Society for some of the dopest and most exclusive parties on Facebook. There’s always excellent talent, pretty faces and no cover. Alfie and co are doing things right…
If I catch you wearing this I will punch your reproductive organs so hard your grandchildren won’t be able to have babies.

Saturday afternoon Adrian and I invited a handful of our friends to South Padre to take the boat out for some tasty drinks and tubing. Check out gabrielcastle’s blog for some nifty photos from our trip. I had no idea my vacation started this Friday, so I’ll be out for two weeks enjoying the summer sun playing softball and spending alot of time at the beach for our daytime parties at Mooncussers. Shwayze is performing on Saturday June 27th, and LMFAO is taking over the island on Saturday July 4th. I’m expecting full mayhem at Mooncussers complete with water sports, live music, a texas-sized water slide, delicious food and drinks, and boobs.
If you jerks hear anything about any sort of screenings for The Hurt Locker, please let me know. This movie looks amazing. It’ll be out in select theaters later this month, so I’m hoping it makes it’s way down to McAllen shortly after. Watch the trailer here.
My niece’s 1st birthday was yesterday, so I spent some time in the evening with my family. It was something small, full of good food and laughter. Official birthday party is happening on the 28th. Happy Birthday Heidi, I hope all of your birthday wishes come true!

What the duck? I had no idea Gael’s rendition of “I want you to want me” was on youtube from Rudo y Cursi. It’s definitely going to be on my top 5 movies of the year. I’ve been singing the chorus at work all day, and everybody hates me now. I’m never going to get over this music video, watch below…

I stopped watching the MTV Movie Awards almost 5 years ago when I realized how much of a joke it is. I realize we’re talking about MTV who their main priority is to entertain the younger generations, but please give credit where credit is due. Late last night I briefly watched about the last 30 minutes of it during the midnight rerun, and I guessed every winner correctly, against my will. “Twilight for best movie.” Only to listen to Denzel and his lovely daughter recite what I just predicted, which I’m sure even hurt Denzel himself. DENZEL! But enough with my ranting, below are all the nominees. Marked in RED is the mtv winner, bolded in BLACK should have been the winner. At the end of the day, its all matter of opinion.
