I’m the new marketing director for the Sharyland scoreboard, so that’s kinda cool. I met up with the awesome folks at Chick-Fil-A and they’ve become my first official sponsor. I get to use my networking skillz and social media marketing to good use. My friday was ridiculous, but after all was said and done, I hit up Sharyland’s first non-district home game to shoot for a few hours, something I’ll always enjoy doing.

A few of my friends and roommates all got together to throw one of the best parties we’ve ever had at our place. We were looking for an excuse to not go downtown, as we’re all pretty sick and tired of it (for the most part). I still hold lots of love for Boiler Room. Definitely more dirt cheap parties coming. Check out tons of more pictures at gabrielcastle and aberazzi.

Tons to look forward to, especially going back to school! It’s been almost three years since I hit the books, and now it’s time to go back and finish up. Huge concerts, dirt cheap parties, and plenty of trips out of town…this is definitely going to be my year.

Must Watch: INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS

I’ve caught it twice already, it’s that good. Tarantino took elements from all of his previous movies and combined it into this 2 and a half hour long milkshake of cinema history with Inglorious Basterds. Christopher Waltz (who plays the antagonist) delivers an oscar worthy performance, yet my favorite role still belongs to Eli Roth as the “bear jew”. There are simply so many great elements that make this film one of my favorites from Tarantino that I’d have to write at ten page report. Every scene (or chapter) will be remembered for a long time, especially the opening sequence and the climax. 5 out of 5 dinostarz.

I finally caught 500 Days of Summer last night; excellent movie,  incredibly depressing. Over the weekend a few of us went to San Antonio to simply get away for a bit. Adrian was hyped to watch the Cowboys training camp at the Alamodome, and I was all in to catch the Cobra Starship show at the white rabbit. Skeet was apart of the tour package, so we got to hang out for a while after the show.

I’m bringing back truth or dare like its 1996.

It’s ironic. I’m at a loss for words on the day where I could write a book about life.

I’ve lost a best friend. One whom I thought was going to attend my wedding. One whom I thought was going to watch me become a father. One whom I thought was going to see me get old, smelly and wrinkly. One whom I thought was going to hold my hand till my heart stops beating. I thought we were air tight, the final piece that made my lite-brite. I hung onto every word, it was the sweetest shit I ever heard.

I don’t know my father well, but I like to think that he was a hopeless romantic when he was young, and now he’s the farthest from the sun. I’ve learned from the best and I know what I can’t lay to rest, love. I do believe in “other halfs”. We all need one person to share our lives with, our love, our hopes, our dreams, our smiles, our tears, and our life.

I’ve slept alone under the cold sheets, desperately waiting for what should have come, instead I’m burdened with a gutcheck atom bomb. And even though we brought it crashing to an end…I loved it all, I loved the girl, I loved my friend. Everything in my room reminds me of you, I might just have to hit up IKEA soon.

I want so much to believe that something good can come from the mess my life has become. There’s no setback that can set me back. I’m too scared to stay and too scared to run. But I’m strong, alive, stitched up and ready to party rock, it’s finally time to celebrate being alive.

“Little do you know your boyfriend, your best friend, is the best thing to ever fucking happen to you.”

ps. Believe me, I’m not mad. But I guess you meant what you said on the boat a few weeks ago.
