On Saturday night, Sharyland walked away with a big one over the PSJA Bears, winning 28-13 and continuing their playoff hunt. I’m heading up to San Antonio on Friday for their third round playoff game against San Antonio Clark where they’ll meet at the Alamodome! I’m sure I always lose cool points every time I post up football pictures, but I really do support these guys and wish them well in their games.

Afterwards, Monica dropped by the house with some friendz and we took a few shots around my Christmas tree. We finished our evening by watching GREASE, and I missed it so much. During my senior year of high school, I was the lead (Danny Zuko) in my theatre play, singing and dancing included! And I sucked at high school, I had asked to be the ‘light guy’, but instead given the lead role. I promise I’ll find a picture and post it up soon for sheer embarrassment.

The season finale of Entourage was priceless. Vince’s ‘anger’ scene was an awesome surprise, he portrayed a part of himself that hadn’t seem to make an appearance through any previous episode, ever.
Monica and I jumped the gun waaaay early and went Christmas shopping for the house. I bought a new tree, plenty of decorations, fake snow, ornaments, a snowman plush pillow, a candy bowl, and even a christmas mug for my morning coffee. Somehow, we lost track of the ‘wired’ decorative penguin. We’re hoping the cashier simply forgot to give it to us when we checked out, cause I was really looking forward to that little feller.

Earlier I had gone bowling with a few coworkers and friends, and I got the highest score of 169. I failed miserably on the tenth frame. Free panchos, pizza, hot wings, cheese fries, and rounds of Dr Pepper!

I got some.

I love The Bean Cuisine in Sharyland, its delicious. The staff is always friendly, quick meals, hot chocolate standing by, and some of the best desserts around town.

Christmas is right around the corner, and it was quite obvious as soon as I walked into Walgreens. I love giving away tons of Christmas presents to my friends and family, and I hope its no different this year. Geo and I agreed to turn our house into the North Pole this year. Every time we get a tree, it usually sticks around till April. True story.

I traveled with the Sharyland football team on Saturday to San Antonio for their bi-district matchup against Del Rio. Most of us assumed they’d be like a Laredo team, but to our surprise these dudes were big, clearly bigger and oversized. After four defensive quarters, the Rattlers defeated Del Rio 35-18 for the Bi-District Championship. Next, the team faces PSJA High Bears this weekend for the area playoffs.
You can check out the complete online gallery here. I want to play Madden!

Last night I attended the Sharyland Technology Showcase, where over 100 kids were displaying their projects on how they use their technology resources in the classroom. It’s so awesome to see how we’ve advanced. I didn’t touch powerpoint till I hit freshman year, and these youngsters are doing some pretty impressive work on it at such an early age.
Tomorrow I’m traveling with the football team for their Bi-District playoff match in San Antonio. Austin is going to be pushed back a week or two.

Wowzers!

My roommate Rey and I had our first match in Madden 09 last night. I took Eli Manning and the rest of the Giants, and Rey chose to run with Tony Romo and the ‘boys. Unfortunately for Rey, I intercepted the ball at the goal line and took the win 31-27.

Yikes!

Notorious B.I.G.
I grew up on hip hop, which leads me to hope that Biggie’s biopic, Notorious, will be as a dope ass gangsta flick as I imagine. The teaser trailer looks amazing, and you probably saw it on the big screen if you caught Saw V in theaters. Notorious hits theaters January 16th.

After reading this article on The Monitor Newspaper, I was encouraged to put together my very own ‘guide’ to my fall fashion smashion.
Simplicity
I definitely lean towards simplicity, while keeping originality and comfort in mind. Modern Amusement is a perfect example of what I mean. Most guys don’t like horizontal stripes, but I think it exposes the path to handjob heaven, and they’re missing out. Nowhere Clothing in McAllen is the only retailer nearby that carries Modern Amusement, definitely hit them up.

Eyewear
I think eyewear is the most important accessory. If expendible, it’s okay to splurge a small chunk of change on a nice pair of sunglasses. Always take a friend and be sure to pick out the ones that feel comfortable and look appropriate to your face figure.

Prada.
Denim
‘They’re just jeans’ is the absolute worst mentality. A good fitted pair of jeans is money. Some don’t like to agree, but coughing up a few benjamins for premium denim makes a difference. I know dudes that only own a single pair of dope ass jeans, and they’ve sworn to them ever since. Sometimes all they really provide is ‘confidence’. Premium denim looks sexy with just about anything, and guys are allowed to own as many jeans as they want.

Diesel Denim.
NO.
Beside wearing ‘douchie couture’ (see Christian Audigier & Smet), don’t ever forget to invite some girls out with you. That’s the last and final piece to any puzzle. Otherwise, you’ll just be ‘those guys’ at the party taking up space and drinking the beer. Chances are you’ll probably leave together too.

Those guys.

Matching is only acceptable with girls. Not bros.
I’m taking Monica hostage this weekend and we’re heading out to Austin. She doesn’t know about it, but you can’t rape the willing. I think we need the time together, and I miss Gabriel, Steve, & California Pizza Kitchen. I’m also looking to get a new pair of jeans, and I still need to order those Supras. They’re coming out with some ridiculous designs, and my shoe collection needs some updating.

Friday was ridiculously unforeseeable and disgustingly obnoxious. Thank you. Despite what happened, the Kottonmouth Kings crew were genuinely nice dudes. The unofficial press release: a fight broke out between the venue and kmk crew. Just don’t tell anyone. I did take my emotions along for the ride over the weekend, so I apologize if I was a prick for a minute or two, or seven.
Monica was selling at Art Walk on friday, so after the entire anal-induced gang bang, I went to visit. Ramen Noodles for dinner, then hit the covers early. Saturday we played at the carnival, and I won at poppin’ balloons with my eyes closed. My PF Changs dinner almost made an early appearance after the ‘Gravitron.’

"And next, I'll be elevating for your entertainment."

Fortune.
